Body of youth exhumed from grave, murder case lodged

The body of a 25-year-old youth was exhumed in Nigazpura locality here and a second post mortem conducted after the family members alleged foul play following which police registered a murder case.
According to family members, Israr went missing on July 17 when he had gone to work with two youths -- Arun Kumar and Chotu.
Israr's body was exhumed from the grave last evening after his family got to know that police had buried the body after postmortem as no one came to claim it and apporached the authorities, Santosh Mishra, SP (city) said.
The body was buried by the family members after a second postmortem was conducted on orders of the District Magistrate, the SP said, adding a case under relevant sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered against the two youths who have been absconding since.

Meanwhile, tension prevailed in the area as locals and family members protested demanding action against the accused following which security has been tightened in the locality.
