Bookings for stalls for Build mat-2015 launched

The launch of bookings for stalls for Buildmat 2015, the seventh edition of the International Biennial Construction and Interior Fair, scheduled in February 2015, would be held here on Monday.
The four-day fair, starting from February 5, 2015, will bring together under one roof the entire gamut of the construction industry from design and technology to final product, C J Ragunathan, Chairman, Build Mat 2015, told reporters here today.
Stating that there was 18 to 20 per cent growth in business enquiries and generation, he said this time the number of stalls are increased to 400 from to 350 last year.

The three premier professional bodies in the construction Industry, Association of Consulting Civil Engineers (INDIA), Builders Association of India and Indian Institute of Arhitects, are jointly organising the fair, which is expected to attract around 5,000 industry professionals and over 50,000 business visitors, he said.
Proceeds from the fair would be ploughed to the Institute run by Builders Association to train skilled construction labourers, functioning on the city outskirts, in collaboration with Sri Ramakrishna Mission, Ragunathan said.
