Boy found dead in borewell in AP

A six-year-old boy, who had reportedly gone missing from Bellakal village in Alur mandal of Kurnool district three days ago, was today found dead in an open borewell in the village, police said.
According to police, the body of the minor was retrieved from the 300-feet open borewell that was recently dug up at an agricultural field in the village.
Even though the boy had fallen into the borewell three days back, his family members thought that he had gone missing, police said.
However, as foul smell emanated from the borewell, the villagers informed the police, following which a parallel hole was dug up and the highly decomposed body of the boy was recovered at 30 feet, a senior police officer told PTI over phone.

Alur police registered a case and investigating the matter.
