Williams, 33, went missing on February 10 and his cast members took to social media to ask followers for any leads on his whereabouts, reported New York Daily News.
However, on Valentine's Day, Williams' cast members returned online to share the good news that he had been found and is safe at a New York hospital. The details of his status were not revealed.
Tony winner Audra McDonald tweeted, "So grateful our dear cast member JL has been found. This is a beautiful Valentines day indeed! Thank you for all of the RT's (retweets) & good thoughts."
"Shuffle Along", which is directed by Tony winner George C Wolfe with choreography by Savion Glover, opens on Broadway on March 15.
