Additional superintendent of police Kankar Prasad Barui said the missing man was a promoter and the bones were exhumed in the presence of a magistrate.
Two persons who were arrested for their involvement in the killing and had informed the police about the spot where the man was buried, were also present.
The two were arrested yesterday and confessed their crime to the police. Based on their confessions the police recovered two pistols and 12 cartridges, Barui said.
The bones were found within the premises of Sharma's residence.Sharma is, however, absconding.
The skeletal parts have been sent for DNA testing, Barui added.
