The campaign will be jointly launched by departments of Health, Social Welfare and Education, with technical support of UNICEF, a press release by UNICEF said here today.
The first of the two-phased campaign would be carried out from July 28 to August 2 focusing on diarrhoea control activities.
The second phase from August 4 to August 8 would focus on promoting breastfeeding practices for infants and children under the theme 'Zero child deaths due to diarrhoea'.
About 35 lakh children below five years in the state would be covered under ORS (oral rehydration salt) and zinc tablets during the campaign, the release said.
