Canada's leader of opposition pays obeisance at Golden Temple

Leader of Opposition of Canada Andrew Scheer along with his wife Jill Scheer paid obeisance at the Golden Temple here Wednesday.

He was also accompanied by Canadian MP Bob Saroya.

Andrew Scheer also visited the Community kitchen of the Golden Temple and partook the langar.

Andrew and Jill Scheer were honoured by SGPC president Gobind Singh Longowal at the Information Centre of the Golden Temple.

They were given sets of Sikh religious books, woolen shawl and replica of the Golden Temple.
