Cardamom prices exhibited a mixed trend in futures trade today as prices for delivery in January contracts rose by 1.29% to Rs 761.10 per kg on rising demand.
However, spice for delivery in February contracts traded lower on adequate stocks.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in January 2016 rose by 9.70 or 1.29% to Rs 761.10 per kg in a business turnover of 317 lots.
Analysts said rising demand in the spot market helped cardamom for January month to trade higher at futures trade, while profit-taking kept pressure on February contracts.
However, spice for delivery in February contracts traded lower on adequate stocks.
