The police in Maharashtra's Osmanabad district registered cases against four persons Thursday for allegedly uploading videos from polling centres on social media.
Polling was held in Osmanabad in central Maharashtra Thursday along with nine other Lok Sabha seats in the state.
Poll officials suspected that some persons were uploading videos on social media from inside polling centres.
Cases were registered at Osmanabad city, Tuljapur and Murum police stations under the Information Technology Act and IPC, said Superintendent of Police A Raja, adding that nobody had been arrested yet.
