Cashier Ajaybhan Singh was arrested while he was accepting Rs 7000 bribe from a complainant, Santu Singh, who has registered a complain in this regard with ACB, the sources said.
In his complaint, Santu Singh had said that the cashier was demanding for bribe in lieu of proposed construction of a boundary wall of Sarna-sthal (place of worship of tribal community) in Ghutwa village under Lesligunj block of Palamau district.
Accordingly, the ACB team laid a trap and arrested Ajaybhan while he was accepting the bribe.
