Centre has given higher development packages to Arunachal:

The Centre has given much higher development packages through DoNER Ministry to make Arunachal Pradesh more vibrant, Union Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju has said.
All need-based projects for the state are "being followed up in every ministry to fulfill the will and aspirations of the people", Rijiju said at Aalo in West Siang district yesterday while visiting Yigikaum, the Sansad Aadarsh village under his constituency, according to an official statement.
"We need to rise above political differences and coordinate at all levels as representatives of the people to start road connectivity by 2019 to bring vistas of development in the nook and corner of the state especially in the border areas," he said while addressing a gathering.

"Home Ministry is overburdened with issues concerning the entire nation but for problems of the state, official, group or individuals are being given priority at Delhi," he said.
The minister is on a three-day whirlwind tour of his constituency Arunachal West which began yesterday.
Rijiju, who visited Yigikaum which he has adopted as a model village under the MPLAD fund, said that Aadarsh Gaon was a new concept and a lot of time had to be spent to make baseline survey and preparation of estimates by departments.

Appreciating the proactive role of District Commisioner, Aalo and all departments in its development process, he assured all budgetary support from MPLADs for small schemes and planned allocation for big projects to develop the village in a more realistic way.

MLA Tumke Bagra, who was accompanying the minister, said that the behavorial changes among the people of Yigikaum after its declaration as Sansad Aadarsh Village was encouraging and he appealed to Rijiju to develop the village as a model one through necessary fund provision.
Later, addressing the heads of department, the minister stressed on timely submission of schemes that need central assistances.
