Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy today met JD(U) state president M P Veerendrakumar against the background of that party, a partner in the ruling Congress-led UDF, expressing dicontent over some issues.
"Issues raised by the JD(U) leader are genuine and they will be looked into during the next meeting on May 5 at Thiruvanathapuram," Chandy told reporters emerging from a 45-minute meeting held at Veerendrakumar's residence here.

The JD(U) state president had contested from the seat.
Veerendrakumar said he was happy that the Chief Minister paid serious attention to the demands.
JD(U) has decided to take all steps for making the UDF north zone propaganda rally a success and the party hasn't taken any decision to abstain from the event, he added.
KPCC general secretary T Siddique and MP M K Raghavan were also present during the talks.
Chandy later left for Wayanad to take part in government functions.
