Charge sheet against five over BJP leader's death

A charge sheet has been filled against five people including mafia don D P Yadav's cousin in connection with the murder of a local BJP leader last year, police said today.
Wine mafia don DP Yadav's cousin Manoj Yadav and four others were charge sheeted under relevant sections of IPC for shooting Rajkumar, local BJP leader and a property dealer in 2014, SSP Anant Dev Tiwari said.
The victim was killed at the instance of Manoj Yadav, he added.
50-year-old BJP leader Rajkumar alias Habbu was shot dead in his house allegedly by three unknown persons on October 23, 2014.

The deceased had reaped huge profit by reselling 30 bighas land belonging to D P Yadav at Bhoor, an urban locality here, thus irking the accused Manoj Yadav who had pressed for the cancellation of the deal, police said.
When the leader refused to give in to the demand, he was killed by goons of Manoj Yadav, the SSP claimed.
