India's challenge in the men's Trap competition came to an end as Kynan Chenai and Prithviraj Tondaiman failed to advance to the final round at the ISSF World Cup Shotgun.
In tough scoring conditions, Kynan shot rounds of 24 and 23, his best performance over three days, to be placed 23rd with a score of 114 at the end of day three of competition currently underway in Lahiti, Finland.
Teammate Prithviraj shot rounds of 20 and 24 to end up with the score of 113 out of 125 to finish 29th in the qualifying round.
Germany's Andreas Loew led the 157-strong field with a 119, a relatively sedate score by international standards. The final and sixth qualifying spot went at 117 which meant Kynan and Prithviraj lost out in the end by three and four points respectively.
