The "Only Human" hitmaker, who sparked concern with her thin frame during the last series of "The X Factor", said she tailors her diet according to how busy her schedule, reported Femalefirst.
"I tailor my diet to how many hours I work a day. I won't eat anything that's going to tire me out if I've got to work the next 12 hours. I have to find a balance.
"Doing 'X Factor' boot camp, there wasn't much to choose from, so I'd just eat what Simon was eating," she said.
"I've always had a strong sense of smell. I remember going into a room one time and saying, 'Who's been eating cheese and onion?' and sure enough on the opposite side of the room was a packet in the bin.
"Scented candles are a must when I travel, so that I feel comforted wherever I go by the same smell.
