Verma will be honoured with DG Insignia & Commendation, Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) Rajesh Kumar said in a statement here.
Verma has been selected for the award by Director General of Railway Protection Force (RPF), Railway board, the statement added.
The honour is part of appreciation of Verma leadership in running successful campaign by RPF officials to ensure smooth movement of trains in naxal hit areas under ECR, the CPRO said in the statement.
