Sultry weather continues to prevail in Punjab, Haryana
Press Trust of India Chandigarh Sultry weather conditions continued to prevail in most parts of Punjab and Haryana today.
The common capital of Chandigarh, which was very humid during the day, recorded a maximum temperature of 36.2 degrees Celsius, a MeT Department report said.
In Punjab, Patiala had a hot and humid day at 37.8 degrees Celsius, followed by Amritsar (36.6) and Ludhiana (36 degrees Celsius).
In Haryana, Hisar recorded a maximum temperature of 38.7 degrees Celsius, while Ambala's high settled at 37 degrees Celsius and Karnal's at 35.6 degrees Celsius.
