Officers of Uluberia police station said the father of one year and four months-old Shuvam, Mahadev Chitrakar, had reported the kid as missing on December 8 and had alleged that the kid's aunt Jyotsna Chitrakar and a realtor, Samir Dey, were behind the child's disappearance.
Today Shuvam's body was fished out of a pond near his house and both Jyotsna and Samir have been arrested and remanded to police custody. Three other persons have also been detained in connection with the incident and an investigation was on, a senior officer of Uluberia police station said.
