According to NWR spokesperson, 25 trains were running late due to the fog and two trains were partially cancelled.
Vehicles were also moving at snail's pace at highways due to dense fog in the early morning hours.
Churu was the coldest place in the state recording a minimum of 4.3 degrees Celsius followed by Pilani at 5.6 degrees C.
The state capital Jaipur recorded a night temperature of 6 degrees C, while Sikar, Jodhpur, Sriganganagar, Dabok, Kota and Ajmer recorded minimum of 7, 7.1, 7.2, 7.4, 8.7 and 10.5 degrees Celsius respectively, according to the MeT Department here.
