Chinese national held for red sanders smuggling

A Chinese national was today arrested from Bangalore today for allegedly smuggling red sanders, police said.
The accused-- Wu Qinfin (32)-- from Fujian province in China, who presently resides in Kormangala area in Bangalore, was arrested, Kadapa officer on special duty Rahuldev Shrama said.
"One red sander log worth Rs 75,000 was recovered from his house, apart from Rs 2.5 lakh cash," Sharma said.
Qinfin was involved in smuggling of red sanders, which was being supplied by smugglers in Rayachoty and others, Sharma said adding he would be produced before the court tomorrow.
Further investigation is on.
