Chiragh a one-time winner on Asian Tour crashed to 75 in third round and dropped to tied 52nd. He will now need a solid final round to make some impact.
Chiragh was the only one of the four Indians to make the cut. Jeev Milkha Singh (74-74) and Shiv Kapur (76-72) missed the cut by one shot, while Himmat Rai (75-78) was way behind after 36 holes.
The South African heads into Sunday's final round on 11 under par after mixing seven birdies with a triple bogey - the only blemish in an otherwise perfect round.
China's Ashun Wu is a shot behind the 21 year old on ten under, with Adrian Otaegui and Gregory Bourdy another stroke back.
