Churu remains coldest place in Raj at 6.4 degrees

Churu remained the coldest place in Rajasthan with a minimum of 6.4 degrees Celsius last night as cold conditions further gripped parts of the state.
However, Mercury showed a slight upward trend in the last 24 hours at all places in the state especially during night and minimum temperature varied between 8 and 11 degrees Celsius, a MeT report said.
Sriganganagar recorded a minimum of 8.4 degrees Celsius followed by Alwar 8.9, Nagaur 9.3, Sikar 9.5, Pali 9.6, and Jaipur 10.6 degrees Celsius.
No major increase in winter conditions is expected in the state in next 24 hours, MeT forecast said.
