Cinema hall, medical store gutted in fire

Fire broke out today at a cinema hall and a pharmacy shop in the city in separate incidents, police said.
No one was reported hurt in the two mishaps, they said.
The blaze erupted at the pharmacy shop near a temple on Nasiya road in the wee hours today, Superintendent of Police (Fire), Hemlata Kureel said.
Later, a movie multiplex 'Velocity' on the ring road on city's outskirts also caught fire, she said.
No one was hurt in the two incidents, she said, adding that hall no. 2 in the multiplex was completely gutted in the fire, the official said.
Fire brigade officials took nearly three hours to control the flames. About 10 water tankers were used to douse the fire in the multiplex, the SP added.
