The real time streaming was possible due to webcasting which was conducted with the support of BSNL and students of the Indian Institute of Information and Technology (IIIT), Nuziveed in Krishna district.
The 'live' webcasting of polling from various booths was aimed at checking loopholes, if any, during the process, district officials said, adding that viewing was made available for general public in view to make the electoral process transparent.
State Chief Electoral Officer at Hyderabad and Krishna district collector M Raghunandan Rao also observed the proceedings.
In a single view, polling at 32 polling centres was viewed on the screen with a size of 10x20 feet and around 2,500 booths were covered from the entire constituency.
Hyderabad-based Brite Audio Visuals managed the technicalities involved.
