Clash over offensive remark against a girl

Six persons, including two women, were injured in a clash between two groups allegedly over an offensive remark made against a girl at Bbhanwada village in the district, police said today.
The incident occurred last evening when the girl's father confronted one Saleem over an allegedly offensive comment made by one of his sons against the girl, Circle Officer S P Sharma said.
Soon a clash with firearms and brickbats ensued in which six persons were injured and admitted to a hospital, he said.
Security has been tightened and extra force has been deployed in the area, Sharma said, adding, police is investigating the case.
