A 14-year-old student died on Tuesday after she fell unconscious on the premises of her school in Vashi in neighbouring Navi Mumbai, police said.
The incident occurred this morning at Modern School in sector 6, when Sayali Jagtap fell unconscious after complaining dizziness, an official said.
She was rushed to civic hospital where doctors declared her brought dead, he said.
Jagtap was a student of class 10. She had come to the school to attend an examination.
The exact cause of her death is not known yet, the official added.
A case of accidental death has been registered at Vashi police station.
