The girl, who has identified the four accused, told her family and the interrogators that she was taken to the abandoned Children's Park compound by the four on Sunday evening and was given drug-mixed food, a senior police officer said.
As she felt drowsy she was gangraped by the four and subsequently lost consciousness. She was later found by her family members on Monday morning, the girl's mother, who works as a domestic help in the locality in Jalpaiguri town told the police in her complaint lodged yesterday, the officer said.
"We are investigating the incident and further action will be initiated on receipt of the medical report of the girl," SP Abharu Rabindranathan said.
