While the humidity in air remained low as the levels oscillated between 56 and 24 per cent, the maximum temperature was recorded three notches above the season's average at 42.4 degrees Celsius, marginally less than yesterday's, a MeT department official said.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 30 degrees, two notches above the normal, the official said, adding, dust storms are likely to occur in some areas today.
However, for tomorrow the weatherman has predicted partly cloudy sky.
The maximum temperature yesterday settled at 42.9 degrees Celsius while minimum temperature was recorded at 27.7 degrees Celsius.
