Cold wave conditions continue in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana,

Residents of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana continue to experience cold wave conditions with significantly low temperatures recorded at several places.
A report by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said here today that cold wave conditions prevailed in parts of districts like Karimnagar, Medak, Adilabad, Rangareddy and Nizambad of Telangana, while Lambasingi, which is around 110 km from Visakhapatnam, has been witnessing minimum temperatures in single digits, this winter.
Minimum temperatures rose at one or two places in coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the IMD report said.
Temperatures were markedly below normal at one or two places in Telangana and appreciably below normal at one or two places in coastal Andhra Pradesh, but above normal at one or two places in Rayalaseema.
"The lowest minimum temperature of 12 degree Celsius was recorded at Nandigama in Andhra Pradesh state and six degree Celsius was recorded at Adilabad in Telangana state respectively," the report said.
In its weather warning for the next three days, the IMD said that cold wave conditions would prevail in parts of districts like Adilabad, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Medak, Ranga Reddy, Hyderabad and Nalgonda in Telangana state.
"Skies would be mostly clear. Mist would occur during morning hours," the IMD said in its forecast for Hyderabad city and its surrounding areas which would be valid until the morning of December 25.
