Sources said that Commission's head S N Agarwal, a retired High Court judge, has summoned Meena for having passed an order that "no information pertaining to the case will be shared with the Commission".
The Arvind Kejriwal government had on August 11 constituted Commission of Inquiry headed by Agarwal to probe the alleged Rs 100 crore CNG fitness scam in which a number of officials of previous Sheila Dikshit government were under the scanner.
Soon after the formation of Commission of Inquiry by the AAP government, Meena, also Joint Commissioner of Delhi Police openly came out against it and had said that he "will not allow any interference in the ongoing investigation.
Last month, Union Home Ministry had termed the set up of Commission of Inquiry by the Delhi government as "illegal, invalid"
"The MHA terms the commission of inquiry constituted by the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) as legally invalid and void ab initio," reads a statement issued by the office of the Lieutenant Governor last month.
The charge sheet was filed before Special Judge Poonam Chaudhry in the case in which several persons were arrested in 2013 for allegedly siphoning off crores of rupees in conducting fitness tests of commercial vehicles in the national capital in connivance with the transport department.
The ACB had registered a case pursuant to a complaint by RTI activist Vivek Garg alleging that the contract for lane test of commercial vehicles before grant of fitness certificates was granted by the Delhi government to ESP India without inviting any tender in 2002 and necessary tests were not being conducted by the company.
