It was alleged that ET Infra Developers imposed unfair conditions by demanding illegal charges and in collusion with the Authority delayed handing possession of office spaces in the particular project.
For this case, the Competition Commission of India (CCI) considered "provision of services for development and sale of commercial space in Noida & Greater Noida" as the relevant market.
The regulator observed that there are many other real estate developers in the relevant market.
With regard to alleged collusion between ET Infra Developers and the Authority, the watchdog said there is no information to support the contention that there is any agreement between them which is in violation of the provisions of the Section 3 of the Act.
The Section 3 of the Competition Act pertains to cartelisation.
Two separate complaints were filed against the two entities.
