According to police, the decomposed body of Naveen Sharma was found hanging from a ceiling fan with the case suspected to be one of suicide.
Sharma occupied the Yamuna Vihar accommodation with his wife Anju and two children who, police said, have been at her parents' home at New Ashok Nagar for the past one week.
Sharma ran a computer hardware repair business from his home, police said.
The incident came to light this morning after Sharma's neighbour called the police control room and complained of a foul smell coming from his house.
Police said that preliminary inquiries indicate that the case is one of suicide even as the autopsy report is awaited.
Police also spoke to his family members who told them that Sharma had dropped Anju and his children to his in-laws' house on Sunday last.
