Congress leader Ajay Rai, who unsuccessfully contested against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the last Lok Sabha polls, has been made campaign in-charge for Varansi district.
Harender Malik will be the campaign in-charge for Saharanpur district, Harshwardhan Valmiki for Agra, Hasan Arif Ansari for Aligarh and Ram Bachan Dhuria for Azamgarh district.
Tarun Patel will be poll campaign in-charge for Devipattan district, Gyanendra Pratap Singh for Faizabad and Ambika Singh for Gorakhpur district, while Pradip Jain Aditya is campaign incharge for Jhansi district and Ram Asrey Prasad for Kanpur district.
Others include Surendra Goyal for Meerut district, Rajespati Tripathi for Mirzapur district.
