Cong appoints 10 VPs, 22 general secretaries for Chhattisgarh unit

Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Tuesday appointed 10 new vice presidents and 22 general secretaries for the Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee.

The Congress chief also set up a seven-member executive committee and appointed 36 district presidents in the state.

"Congress president has approved the proposal of the appointment of PCC office bearers, executive committee and district Congress committee presidents for Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee (CGPCC)," according to a party statement.
