Chief Spokesperson of HPCC, Naresh Chauhan said that "the state government should take strict action against guilty persons who had beaten a person to death, while they were smuggling cattle and also take measures to stop illegal smuggling of bovine animals and remain vigilant that border areas of the state are not used for cattle smuggling.
"Strict action should be taken against guilty persons in the state in both the incident as our constitution does not allow anyone to take law in their hands," Chauhan said.
While criticising the killing of youth, Chauhan said that the state and district administration should maintain a constant vigil to ensure that such incidents are not allowed to be "exploited" to stir up communal tension.
