"What happened to talks of strong nationalism, the blatant jingoism, the 56-inches chest... That is not enough. It's all showing up.. In the last six months, the value of Rupee has fallen now to Rs 63.57 per dollar.
"We had brought it at the level of Rs 58.5 per dollar. Can I ask the Prime Minister now whose age in the Union Council of Ministers, the Rupee is now chasing. Perhaps the questioner has the answer," party spokesperson Abhishek Singhvi told reporters.
"Now, the Rupee is falling and it looks as if it will reach the Finance Minister's age (in terms of value in relation to US dollar)".
Continuing its fall for the third straight session, the Rupee today declined by six paise to close at 63.57 against the greenback following sustained month-end dollar demand from importers and capital outflows.
