"The BJP-PDP coalition government is creating controversies as per their match fixing strategy in order to keep the people engaged and to divert the attention of people from the utter failure of the government in the state," JKPCC chief Ghulam Ahmed Mir said while addressing a party function in Samba district.
Mir alleged that the BJP-PDP government was exploiting the people by generating controversies in order to keep the people engaged in different conflicts and to divert their attention from the governance deficit and their failure to fulfill the promises made by them during Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.
He said that Congress would continue to play the role of a unifying force being a secular and progressive political force having strong base in all three regions of the state.
He expressed confidence that Congress will stage a comeback in the Leh Hill Council Elections.
