A maximum of 16.35 lakh quintals of sugarcane has been crushed by cooperative sugar mill, Shahabad, followed by Rohtak sugar mill which has crushed 13.96 lakh quintals of sugarcane, an official spokesperson said.
These two sugar mills have produced over 1.44 lakh quintals and 98,400 quintals of sugar respectively.
As much as 10.95 lakh quintals of sugarcane has been crushed by cooperative sugar mill, Karnal, and 9.15 lakh quintals and 8.41 lakh quintals by Kaithal and Gohana sugar mills, respectively.
