Traders said sentiments in copper turned better after it recovered from one-week low in overseas markets as investors weighed the possibility of further stimulus by Chinese policy makers against signs of slowing industrial activity in the world's biggest consumer.
Meanwhile, copper for delivery in three months rose 0.4 per cent to USD 6,078.50 a metric tonne on the London Metal Exchange.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap moved up by Rs 2 to Rs 410 per kg.
Following are today's metal rates (in Rs per kg):
Lead ingot Rs 99, Lead imported Rs 100, Aluminium ingots Rs 160, Aluminium sheet cutting Rs 161, Aluminium wire scrap Rs 163 and Aluminium utensils scrap Rs 160.
