Copper, zinc weaken on muted demand
Prices of copper and zinc eased by Rs 2 per kg at the non-ferrous metals market today owing to slackened demand from consuming industries.
Traders said tepid demand from consuming industries at domestic spot market kept copper mixed scrap and zinc ingot lower.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap and zinc ingot declined by Rs 2 each to Rs 134-140 and Rs 429 per kg, respectively.
