Copra edible surges on renewed demand

Copra office Alapuzha and copra Kozhikode also moved up on sustained demand from stockist and millers.

Meanwhile, copra Rajapur prices dropped due to lack of buying support from stockist and retailers.

Rest all spices closed stable in the absence of any market moving factors.

Copra edible Mumbai shot-up by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 6,000 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 5,800.

Copra office Kozhikode climbed by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 4,700 from Rs 4,650.

Copra office Alapuzha also gained by Rs 25 per quintal to Rs 4,775 as against Rs 4,750 yesterday.

However, copra Rajapur Mumbai fell by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 6,800 as compared to Rs 6,900 previously.
