Marketmen said, the fall in cottonseed oil cake prices was mostly due to cut down of positions by participants tracking a weak trend at the physical markets due to low demand amid fresh arrivals from growing regions.
At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange platform, cottonseed oil cake delivery for the first contract April weakened by Rs 25, or 1.24 per cent, to Rs 1,992 per quintal, having an open interest of 440 lots.
