A man and his wife have been arrested southeast Delhi's Govindpuri area for their alleged involvement in eight cases of theft, police said on Wednesday.
Vikram (24) and his wife Sonia (20) were caught while they were fleeing on a stolen motorcycle after snatching a mobile phone, they said.
According to police the couple have been involved in eight cases of theft.
"They both lived in a same locality got married six months ago. Vikram arrested in a case of snatching in Kalkaji and was released from jail in July," A senior police officer said.
"In order to earn quick money, Vikram's wife also joined him in his criminal activities," the officer said.
