Metropolitan Magistrate Sujit Saurabh allowed the plea moved by the doctor in this regard after he claimed that both the complainant and the accused did not want to pursue the matter and were ready to compound the case.
According to court sources, both the singer and the doctor were present before the court during the hearing.
The court had granted bail to Singh in May last year on a personal bond of Rs 20,000 and one surety of like amount.
The court had summoned Singh to appear before it after taking cognisance of the charge sheet filed by the police under sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 341 (wrongful restraint) and 34 (common intention) of IPC.
The incident had taken place at a concert organised by the Delhi Ophthalmological Society (DOS) at the Delhi Pusa Institute Mela Ground in Inderpuri in south west Delhi.
Delhi Police had registered a case of causing hurt and wrongful restraint against Singh, after a video of the incident had gone viral on the social media.
They had said that while performing, Singh had called some from the audience on the stage.
While on the state, something done by the doctor irked Singh who then allegedly slapped him and handed him over to bouncers, the police had said.
Soon after the incident, the doctor's colleagues had created a ruckus at the venue but the police immediately intervened and promised action against Singh following which an FIR was filed.
Mika had defended himself claiming that the doctor was drunk and causing disruption.
