Fast Track Court Judge Chandroday Kumar awarded life imprisonment to Sheetla Prasad yesterday and also imposed a fine of Rs 1.15 lakh on him after he was convicted of murdering his wife Munni Devi on September 20, 2014.
An FIR was lodged in this connection by the victim's brother Surendra Kumar alleging that his sister was killed for dowry.
