The Kerala High Court had earlier rejected the anticipatory bail pleas of Karayil Chandasekharan, CPI-M Thiruvangad Local committee secretary and Karayil Rajan, Kannur District secretary, who are the seventh and eighth accused in the case.
Issuing the non-bailable arrest warrant, Ernakulam Chief Judicial Magistrate Sashidharan also issued warrant against another accused Kodi Suni directing CBI, which is investigating the case, to produce him in court on July 5.
CBI had earlier informed the court that the two were the main conspirators in the case.
The prosecution case was that a group of assailants had attacked Fazal, a former CPI(M) worker who switched over to the NDF, and killed him near Temple Gate near Thalassery in Kannur district on October 22, 2006.
Among the eight accused, six have been arrested.
The conspiracy was hatched to do away with Fazal as he changed his allegiance from CPI(M) to NDF and attracted more Marxist workers to NDF, it was stated.
