A court here today rejected the bail application of industrialist Mahimananda Mishra, arrested in connection with a bomb blast case.
Cuttack District Judge S N Mishra turned down the bail application of Mishra as he has been charged under section 307 (attempt to murder), 120B (criminal conspiracy) and 34 (common intention) of the IPC.
Mishra was arrested in December last year by the Paradeep police in connection with a murder case.
Even before he was granted bail by the Orissa High Court in the murder case, the Cuttack police took him into custody in connection with the 2013 bomb blast case, in which two persons, including a lawyer, were injured.
