Crime Branch IG Y B Khurania said, "We have been trying to extract some information from Panda about the looted arms from Nayagarh armoury."
DGP Sanjeev Marik had yesterday said that the revolver seized from Panda during his arrest a fortnight ago from Berhampur, was the same that had gone missing from Nayagarh armoury six years ago.
Panda was brought here yesterday evening after the Crime Branch took him on a nine-day remand.
Panda was arrested from a house in Berhampur on the night of July 17.
He was accused in at least 12 cases under investigation by the Crime Branch including that of murder of VHP leader Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati.
