He also said that in the BJP rule, all first information reports (FIRs) are registered at police stations and general public was getting relief.
"Some persons in the state have impression that crime is increasing but it is not true. In previous governments, FIRs were either not lodged or were being lodged after much delay. Due to this reason, the statics of crime was appearing to be too low," Sharma told reporters.
"Copying in examination will not be tolerated," he added.
On the issue of fee hike, he said that a decision will be taken to prevent the schools from increasing the fees.
The deputy CM also said that not a single case of exploitation or harassment of Muslims have came into his knowledge.
"The government is working for everyone," he added.
