Custody extended till April 27

The judicial custody of five Maoists, lodged in the Central Jail here, was today extended up to April 27.
On expiry of the custody period, the Maoists, including the couple Roopesh and Shyna, who were detained under National Security Act, were produced before the District Principal Court this noon.
The judge (in-charge) Christopher extended their custody till April 27.
The Maoists, arrested from Karumathampatti in May last, were wanted in many cases in Kerala and also Tamil Nadu and were detained under NSA.
